The different shades of red represent the fiery heart of a volcano, dark and hot, where myth tells us the Dragons would sleep.

The Fire Dragon shows his fierce and fiery side while creating a soft glow in the room.

This shark is on display at Hammerhead's Ocean Grille at 67th and Deer Valley in Glendale, matching their logo, The shark glows from behind in the evening as if he were surfacing from the depths of the ocean.

Hand carved out of a stump of Arizona Ironwood, this cross appears to have pushed its way right out of the log. Perfectly centered to the lighter wood grain that runs around the cross, the wood is mostly dark grain with the light outer bark left on the back. A custom made stand is shown below.

Made of asymmetrical silver and gold colored steel ribbons, it sits atop a sandstone base and is topped with a thick custom cut glass which holds the cross.

Made up of an outer circle and interior webbing of mild steel with small copper wires to catch the dreams. Two fossils found on Arizona's Mogollong Rim add to the beauty, one of a sea scallop and the other a sea creature from many centuries past.
Ironwood and mesquite beads, handmade by the artist, create their own dreams along with pink quartz, amethyst and Arizona agate. A slice off a geode from along the Arizona/Mexico border creates the center piece.
The feathers are hand cut copper with raw-hide accents.
The body is made of mild steel, colored with heat by the artist's torch, with stainless steel highlights. He has an Apache Tear stone for his eye. Commissioned work - sits at the top of the bird feed rack at a Veterinary Clinic. Size; 3X2 feet.
LED Lighting
Some of Desert Fang's latest creations involve the use of creative lighting. Using LED lights, the artist creates a backlit effect behind the art.

Mixed Media
The elaborate head dress consists of 75 feet of copper wire, inlaid white quartz , amethyst, turquoise and selenite from a local Arizona mine.
The body is made of Ironwood, inlaid with turquoise and red coral. The boots are mesquite, the arms are Saguaro cactus ribs with turquoise inlay, the flute is of solid mesquite.
Kokopelli's face is made of a blend of brass and copper with an Apache Tear stone for the eye and red coral and turquoise for the painted face. His belt is braided copper, adorned with a rattle from a Western Diamondback rattler, and an assortment of stones and a seashell, because he was a traveler and covered great distances from desert to sea.

This wings of this beauty was created from a limb of the Ironwood tree. The shape was not modified, the limbs grew in this shape and the artist recognized it for what it truly was. The body was formed of the root of the tree using special metal cutting tools to combat this very hard wood. She rests atop a shiny copper leaf.
