Tim Bienfang, aka  'Desert Fang'

Creating beautiful items from dead tree limbs or lifeless rocks or even hunks of metal, Tim says he finds his artwork as much as he creates it.  "It's already in there."  He says, "I just let it out."  Each item is individually hand crafted and  unique, always one of a kind.

Artist

Timothy Bienfang was born and raised in and around Waterloo Iowa. He learned most of his welding and machinery skills from his Father, but quite certainly inherited his artistic skills from his Mother. Tim uses  these together with his own natural talents to create fine pieces of art, utilizing metal, wood rocks and almost any material available.

Tim resides in Surprise Arizona, where he lives with his wife, Donna, on a piece of land situated in the low desert with ready access to most of the material necessary for his art.

Having been given the nick name of Desert Fang by friends, this has become his art name and he carries it proudly.
